Our choral guide on the left can help with the abbreviated terms. Most teachers buy the Teacher's Edition or Director's Manual, Singers 5 pak and/or REPRO PAK and accompaniment ShowTrax / ChoirTrax Cd.

NOTE: In most cases, if not all, when the product says cassette you can expect it to be CD's. As of yet the publishers have not updated their database descriptions to reflect this new reality.

Chorals are not sold in packages but as individual items. For first time buyers of these school plays, chorals and Musicals, please be aware that the vast majority are sold as individual pieces and are not 'packaged'.

All descriptions are provided by the publisher and they are generic in nature, meaning that they all say the same thing. Some people have confused the word 'Available' to mean 'Included'. Also, they all list the available parts but some of the titles are being discontinued so be sure that the parts you want are there. Also note that although many of the choral products say Cassette you can expect the product to be CD's. These are generic titles etc. as given by the publisher by database and until they change it on their side we unfortunately have to post as is. If you search and don't see them, they are probably out of print but it doesn't hurt to send us an email to ask. These generic descriptions are being re-written by the publisher but at this time we haven't been told when this will be accomplished.

The information about each choral or musical is provided by the publisher and posted as is. Most choral musicals are designed for small or large groups of children to participate. Besides the main roles others can be created for background extras or in the choral group itself. These musicals are designed to be flexible to meet the most wide variety of situations regardless of class size. We have never had a complaint about any of our musicals in this area and that says a lot

Some of our customer's also have objected to the price of some of the choral cd's (ShowTrax and ChoirTrax). For the explanation we went again to the publishers. Here's what we were told.

"Performance Cd's have a lot of costs connected to them. An arranger has to be paid to score the song, a band and in some cases an entire orchestra is hired to perform it. Of course you have to include the cost of the studio time involved to both record and edit the final product.

Then you have to factor into the equation that very few are sold in comparison to a normal music CD which of course leads to the higher costs per Cd."
